I am a college football fanatic with two grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and a beautiful granddaughter who calls me Nana. I have a BS in Nursing and an MS in Nursing Education. I retired after working as a hospital-based RN for 39 years. I am a member of the Infusion Nurses Society and the Professional Writers Alliance.
I developed this website primarily for women. I've heard female friends and coworkers for years say they would not mind watching but do not understand what they are looking at. I also hope anyone who wants to learn more about the game will visit the site and stay awhile.
I have been watching college football most of my life, and find the ins and outs of the game, the fouls and penalties, and the strategies used and plays called by the coaching staff fascinating. No I am not a coach, but I watch the game religiously and listen to the commentators. Sometimes I will write down an explanation of a penalty so I can remember it.
I watch College Game Day on ESPN every Saturday morning where they discuss all kinds of things, from predictions of who will win the day's games to human interest stories about a player and his family or a coach and his journey through the coaching ranks. I watch football from noon on Saturdays when Game Day ends until I go to bed Saturday night.
I have read the NCAA College Football Rules book (all 235 pages plus numerous appendixes) cover-to-cover twice, and referred back to it uncounted times preparing the pages for this website.
There are a lot more fouls and penalties and other rules, some very obscure, that I have not included as of yet, and I will constantly be looking for new and exciting information to add for you.
Rules change from year to year and I will try my best to keep the website pages up to date. So if you come back to the site later on, there may be changes once the season gets closer and new rules for the 2022-2023 college football season are announced. I will highlight changes so they will be easy to find
Thank you for visiting my site!
